This page aims at facilitating the process of preparing the reports/deliverables of the MUSCLE Workpackage 5.

Current Working Document

The first Deliverable of MUSCLE WP5 is a report on the State-of-the-art in the Tasks/Subtasks described in MUSCLE΄s Technical Annex and more generally in the broad area of _Cross-Modal Integration for Performance Improving in Multimedia_. The final report is officially due by the end of August. To merge and smooth your parts in due time, you need to send to Petros Maragos your contributions by the middle of August.

We have prepared a draft layout of the SoA^? report, which we hope you will find helpful in preparing your contribution. This is based on Muscle's Technical Annex and gives a preliminary skeleton (chapters, sections, subsections, bullet-points) of the report. You may also want to add some further topics that are closely relevant to WP5 goals.

In the attached layout we have made some suggestions regarding the subtasks/topics on which various partners should contribute, based on each group's expressed interest (if info is available). The groups that don't see their name under any task should select one or more tasks where they want to contribute. All WP5 participants are required to contribute some relevant content in their areas of expertise, even something brief.

Instructions to Authors

To simplify the compilation of the final document, please follow some guidelines regarding the format of the document you will send us. As decided in the MUSCLE Kick-off meeting, the deliverables will be prepared in LaTeX. We supply simple author instructions & sample Latex files for that purpose. Please follow these guidelines in writing your report. In an attempt to develop common rules throughout MUSCLE, these instructions are almost identical to those provided by Rozenn Dahyot for WP7 and WP8.
