Antigoni was born in Athens in 1988. She received her Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in September 2012. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens in December 2019. During her Ph.D., she participated in several European and Greek funded projects and collaborated with Athena Research and Innovation Center as well as the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). The main research direction during her PhD was audiovisual attention/saliency modeling in videos using machine learning techniques, as well as auditory scene analysis and speech processing. Additional research directions, addressed during her PhD, included speech recognition, dialog systems and speaker localization. She has authored 17 papers in journals and conference proceedings. Currently, she is a postodoctoral research associate in CVSP and IRAL labs, with her main research interests lying in AudioVisual Saliency modeling, Pattern Recognition, Deep Learning, Speech and Dialog systems.
