Biosketch

I received my Diploma in Applied Mathematics at the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Science in National Technical University of Athens. My thesis was a numerical study of the performance of ecological composite materials. I obtained my Master degree in Computational Mechanics from the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA.

I had been working for about a year in Cross-Media relations in multimodal discourse, in the COGNIMUSE project. I am currently a PhD student in the CVSP Group, under the supervision of Prof. Petros Maragos, working in the field of Computer Vision. My research interests lie in the fields of gesture, action and emotion recognition, with a focus on Child-Robot Interaction.
